Kevin Taylor

I am a teacher, program director, and instructional trainer who has worked for more than two decades in Christian private K-12 schools in the United States and Guatemala. I currently teach high school Spanish and direct an institute on faith and culture at Front Range Christian School in Littleton, Colorado, USA. I have a Ph.D. in Religious Studies from Boston University, as well as an M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction and a B.A. in Spanish from Wichita State University. At present, I am designing and exploring the viability of Nova Education Labs, a professional development venture designed to equip teachers in Christian schools across the United States in the areas of character formation, entrepreneurial thinking, and instructional design, in the hopes that they can help their students become the sorts of people who dedicate their lives to loving God and bringing hope and healing to a hurting world. I live in Littleton with my wife and two daughters.

What interests you the most about the potential for Leadership and Flourishing?

I'm hoping that synergy within this team will create greater flourishing not only in our individual settings, but within the wider field of education as well.

What are you most excited about working on?

I'm currently excited to explore the similarities and differences between the neo-Aristotelian frameworks of character education found in public and secular settings and the explicitly Christian formulations found within Christian religious institutions.
